Rain Planet is not responsible for any lost revenue to clients due to server outages, web site failure, or lost emails.
Rain Planet hosts all sites we build at a multi million-dollar data
center with redundant Internet connections and
diesel generators
for AC
power backups. For consistency, security, and reliability reasons, Rain
Planet doesn't host sites at locations other than our state-of-the-art
data center. The only exception is when a site needs to be hosted within
a company's firewall for internal use.
For security reasons we don't grant updateable FTP access to the sites
we design. The two exceptions are customer-updateable pages and sites
that are hosted within a company's firewall.
HTML, scans, design, content, and logos will remain property of the
customer. All custom applications such as shopping carts or art gallery
software is property of Rain Planet and is leased to the customer unless
otherwise arranged. Source code is not available to the customer.
Rain Planet chooses not to work with offensive or controversial content.
Search engine submittal is included in all of our packages. Because
search engines are operated by 3rd parties, we cannot guarantee when a
specific search engine indexes a given site or what ranking a given site
will have for a given keyword search or phrase.
